A speedy method for simultaneous determination in tablet active content by NIR and UV-Vis spectrophotometry: Comparison of PLS-1 and ICA-ANN models

نویسندگان

چکیده

In this study, the NIR and UV-Vis spectroscopy methods, which are frequently used in pharmaceutical industry, were applied to environments where Paracetamol, Propyphenazone Caffeine active substances present, spectroscopic data obtained evaluated comparatively with ICA-ANN PLS-1, powerful chemometric methods. When using solid agents method, liquid solutions equivalent them method. Following application of both spectral as chemometrics methods method yielded more accurate results than PLS-1. High recovery rates relatively low standard deviations found recommended for use industry.

UV-Vis Spectrophotometry and Multivariate Calibration Method for Simultaneous Determination of Theophylline, Montelukast and Loratadine in Tablet Preparations and Spiked Human Plasma

Resolution of binary mixtures of theophylline (THEO), montelukast (MKST) and loratadine (LORA) with minimum sample pretreatment and without analyte separation has been successfully achieved by multivariate spectrophotometric calibration, together with partial least-squares (PLS-1), principal component regression (PCR) and hybrid linear analysis (HLA). Data of analysis were obtained from UV–Vis ...

Gabapentin Determination in Human Plasma and Capsule by Coupling of Solid Phase Extraction, Derivatization Reaction, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry

Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant widely used in the treatment of epilepsy. No peculiar chromophore is available on the gabapentin moiety for direct analysis by absorption spectrophotometry. A sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of gabapentin in bulk, pharmaceutical formulations and human plasma has been developed. In this method, gabapentin directly derivatized with vanilli...
